A GUIDE FOR CALCULATING THE RELEASE
(DIN) SETTING STEP 1 - SKIER TYPE Step 1 involves determining what type of skier you believe yourself to be. In the standard DIN release setting table there are three classes of skier consisting of Beginner, intermediate and advanced. The more advanced you believe yourself to be the higher the release setting will be meaning the less chance you have of an accidental binding release but the more chance you have of the bindings not releasing during a crash. Select your type from the table below and make a note.
